First time visitor. I was very impressed with their curb service. There were serval cars at the drive thru and a young girl came outside and took our orders. That cut our wait time tremendously. The fish was good. The barbeque was ok. Hard to beat Papa Bill's

Said it had tv it has a tv that is in a corner so I can’t see it. Not very clean at all! This truly was NOT my best experiance but they were friendly enough to turn this a lil boy around and the food was good so bonus

Nice buffet but it is a BBQ place with no BBQ on the buffet. Well priced with matched quality.

Excellent great good food worth eatting

Stopped in for Sunday lunch on our way out of town. Food was wonderful! Home made,and hot. No frozen chicken or squash there! Buffet was loaded with choices. Service was good with keeping our drinks filled. Will stop again when we come back to the beach.

First visit, the food is very delicious.

The double cheese burger I only had cheese. The inside was pink. I like all my meat well done. Had to wait for 25 mins. Want go back. The service was horrible. Should have went up the St. to Burger king.

This is a popular local restaurant. It has good food and a fantastic staff. The barbeque is good and love the hush puppies. They have fried chicken and seafood also, that is delicious. Another plus, is their daily lunch buffet. It's good and priced to please and the waitresses keep your glasses filled with some of the best sweet tea. Highly recommend!

Good country food stamps it's best. I have gone past this place for many years and never stopped. A diamond in the ruff! Such great country food!

This place had terrible bland food, sticky table covers, They ran out of plates when we came. The chicken was undercooked, The mash potatoes were runny. We only stopped here because we were in the car for 4 hours straight and it said BBQ food which it was not... the food tasted like the cheap 1 dollar TV dinners. Don't eat here.

This is a very casual restaurant, the food is good. It is outdated and looks old. But their staff is very friendly. We visited on a Sunday at noon, and it was crowded. It was lively and everyone was having a fun time. Their buffet is the best option, as they have several comfort food options. Their desserts are good as well.

I have eaten at this place soany times in my lifetime I can't count They cater. The buffet can make you gain ten pounds by smelling it. And they have call Ahead drive thru pick up. They get the orders right with a smile and it always tastes good. What more do you need?

In my opinion, best dam food. We were traveling from Iowa to South Carolina and we were tired and hungry. We found this place and it's still on our minds 3 years later. Time for an encore visit. The greens, the chicken..yum!!

If you leave hungry it's your own fault . Good food and great family atmosphere ,dine in or take out.

Very nice waitress .. Hush puppies were awesome...little disappointed with flounder and BBQ sandwiches but overall no regrets.

We went through the "drive thru" and got 2 barbeque sandwiches with Cole slaw, 2 orders of hushpuppies, and a fry for about $13. It was all tasty, but there was no menu posted (we just winged it based on food pictures, and apparently some things are only on the buffet), and there were no napkins, ketchup, or other sauces- strictly the food in a paper bag. I just really wish they'd had a menu up somewhere.....

The drive thru is Awesome. They were so kind to my doggies. They're like my kids and they treated them like they were special. Wonderful food. Hushpuppies were to die for. Let my kids have some they tore it up. Great job! Awesome service.

Ths BBQ was moist, tasty and a heaping nice portion. The slaw is almost as good as my mom's, who makes the best anywhere. The fries were hot as were the free side of hushpuppies. Get some of the homemade tartar sauce to dip them in, it's really good. The country style rib was sampled and but not finished. Very friendly service and we will return as we continue our national BBQ tasting trail.

Go local and check this one out. The lunch buffet is under $10 for everything including tea...all u can eat. Vinegar based BBQ is pretty standard but great staff and value gets the extra star...

Little town, family BBQ, Fish, Buffet. Love the BBQ sandwich with slaw. This place has something for everyone but dont expect fancy. It's a simple place with good food, and it's certainly enough. Friendly service. I'll be back next visit.

When you see the first word on the sign after the name, what would be the expectation for the lunch buffet?Welp, this place did not have BBQ on the buffet. They did have some very good friend chicken, Crowder peas, green beans, fish and peach cobbler. But not BBQ.I'd still go back, as the staff were friendly. But no BBQ on the lunch buffet? That just seemed weird.

No good hamburger steak was like rubber no black eyed peas either won't be going back

We stopped in for lunch. Didn't want a huge meal, so passed on the buffet, but it was fresh looking and well stocked, nice variety for only $9.25 including a drink. We had the bacon cheeseburger, very tasty and only $3.50. Other sandwiches included sliced pork, chop, bbq, and many more. Servers and owner were very prompt and attentive. Very nice stop.

Food was okay but the service was less than mediocre. One waitress was busy on the drive thru while the waitress on the floor kept walking by without asking if everything was okay. Had to get our own refills. Definitely won't go out of our way to eat here again. On a positive note the fried chicken was the best I have had on a buffet in a long time. Very crispy juicy and full of flavor.

I got their plate special for lunch which was beef stew over rice.

Love their Hush puppies and slaw barbecue only bad thing is just not enough hush puppies to hold me over lol I have to buy more it's that addicted lol.

Really southern home cooking but the bbq was kind of tough and bland. The 'blueberry yum yum' is amazing!!! Chicken and fish was really good!!! Their tea is perfect!!!!

As a truck driver I want to eat GOOD TASTING meals at affordable prices. You can't go wrong eating at Willamson's BBQ Restaurant in Chadbourn NC. There hasn't been a single time that I stopped in and eating or just got a bbq sandwich to-go and it wasn't worth the money. Fellow truck drivers if your hungry and you're in the area stop by this place and feast on a GREAT MEAL!

The food was delicious and the service was great as always.

About 15 minutes after we ordered we were told it would be another 15 minutes for the chicken, canceled the chicken and about 10 minutes later our food comes out COLD! Staff had horrible attitudes. Don’t waste your time or money

Best BBQ I've ever had in NC. Ribs are awesome meat falls right off the bone. The staff is so friendly and helpful! You really need to make a trip here. I haven't made it to the lunch buffet but I will.

This place is hit or miss it can be the best sometimes but the opposite the next visit. I guess it depends on the kitchen crew for the day. They finally got the dressing right the last time I tried it!

They greeted us when we entered,the place was clean,and we received a decent plate portion of food,could not eat it all so we was given a Togo plate to take home. We had lemonade and water.very delicious.

Delicious pit stop on the way to Myrtle Beach. So glad we chose this restaurant. Great, friendly staff. Good was quick and so so good! And our family of four ate for $22. It's an all around win!

The food was very good however the service leaves a lot to be desired. Trying to pay our bill to leave was VERY frustrating. Would I go again, probably not.
